Instrument making

A new string instrument, chārtār, Sept. 2025, Edmonton.  This is a hybrid among acoustic guitar, Persian tār and Persian sitār. The structure is my own design (a work in progress). The fretting system is based on my 2023 article in AAWM journal, where I proposed a new mathematically derived fretting system based on a modified Pythagorean interval (which I called a nīmā).
