Mission
and Acitivities Summary
Our mission is to provide, teach, disseminate and promote World Arts, particularly World Music.
Currently, our main activities include: a) music
catering for your events, b) music lessons, and c) research in ethnomusicology. Note that our field of music is
not limitted to Persian/Iranian music (for which some samples are presented in our 'gallery'); we have performed world
music in Edmonton and can teach that. Our fileds of activities will grow gradually. So stay tuned or make a suggestion by
contacting us.
We encourage those who wish to work for Mithra Arts (e.g. by teaching a language, teaching an instrument,
participating in solo or group performances, etc.) or those who would like to post their research articles to contact
